Staff Accountant

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions
• Prepare and perform bank and account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and account analyses
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Assist in preparing financial statements and internal management reports
• Review financial data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies as needed
• Support audits by gathering documentation and preparing requested schedules
• Collaborate with the accounting team to improve processes and strengthen internal controls
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned to support the department

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial concepts
• Knowledge of accounts payable processes and general accounting practices
• Familiarity with bank reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger functions
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Competency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to financial challenges

Internship or prior accounting experience is a plus, but not required
