Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Fayetteville, North Carolina. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong background in accounting processes, including general ledger management, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. If you have experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or QuickBooks, we encourage you to apply.

Job Responsibility:

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
perform detailed bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
oversee general ledger activities, including preparation and review of journal entries
assist with month-end close procedures, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete
prepare and analyze financial reports to support management decision-making
utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP to manage financial data effectively
collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
address discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly
support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
strong proficiency in performing bank reconciliations and managing the general ledger
familiarity with month-end close procedures and preparation of journal entries
experience working with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP
excellent analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting
ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with stakeholders
knowledge of accounting principles and regulations to ensure compliance
bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
