Staff Accountant

• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
• Perform account reconciliations to guarantee correct account balances
• Assist in gathering documentation required for external audits
• Generate schedules as part of financial management and reporting
• Aid the controller in training other staff members to ensure the efficiency of the accounting department
• Utilize Sage 100 for various accounting tasks

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required
• Applicant must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role
• Proficiency in performing Bank Reconciliations is a must
• Demonstrable experience with Account Reconciliation is required
• Candidate should be skilled in using Sage 100 accounting software
• A background in the Machinery/Work tools is highly preferred
• The ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports is essential
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles is expected
• Must exhibit excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed for interaction with various departments
