The Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing purchase orders, credit card transactions, complex accounting activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and assisting with audits.
Job Responsibility:
Manage purchase order transactions by entering, posting, and reviewing invoices while ensuring compliance with organizational policies
Oversee credit card transactions, investigate discrepancies, and resolve chargebacks
Perform complex accounting activities such as accruals, deferrals, and accurate allocation of revenue and expenses across reporting periods
Ensure compliance and accuracy in expense transaction coding and preparation for import
Conduct detailed balance sheet account reconciliations and make adjustments as needed to ensure accuracy
Assist in preparing schedules and responding to inquiries during the annual financial statement audit
Perform additional accounting duties as assigned to support the organization’s financial operations
