Robert Half is seeking a driven and adaptable Staff Accountant to join our Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) program. Job Responsibility:
Prepare and post journal entries to support daily accounting operations
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Support month-end and year-end close processes, including financial analysis and reporting
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve accuracy and efficiency
Work within various ERP systems and adapt quickly to new client environments
Collaborate with client teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Contribute to process improvements and special accounting projects
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or industry experience preferred)
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close
Experience with account reconciliations and financial reporting
Proficiency in Excel and exposure to accounting/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and processes
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
CPA or CPA-track is a plus, but not required
