Job Responsibility:
Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements, journal entries, and bank accounts to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Support month-end and year-end closing processes in compliance with GAAP and company policies
Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, and analyze financial performance against projections
Maintain detailed financial documentation and ensure internal controls are properly followed
Collaborate with operations, finance, and management teams to validate financial data and generate clear, accurate reports
Assist with tax preparation activities, including corporate and sales tax filings
Participate in process improvement initiatives and help implement accounting system enhancements
Perform in-depth financial analyses to support management decisions and long-term planning
Resolve complex account discrepancies and assist with consolidated reporting across multiple entities
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Two to four years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment
Solid understanding of GAAP and standard accounting practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP
Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and organizational skills
Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a changing environment
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a service-based organization
Strong knowledge of corporate tax, sales tax, and financial reporting principles
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or equivalent
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
Exceptional analytical and organizational abilities
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to perform complex financial analysis and manage reconciliations efficiently
