Job Description:

This Contract role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to financial operations within the Concessions Department, focusing on payments and reconciliations.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare monthly journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting
Perform comprehensive account reconciliations on a monthly basis
Generate financial statements and reports to support organizational goals
Assist in annual airport audits by compiling and organizing necessary documentation
Investigate invoice aging for airport payments through detailed reconciliation processes
Collaborate with airports to resolve overpayments and apply credits effectively
Support external audits by providing required financial data and insights
Work closely with the team to maintain compliance with financial standards and practices

Requirements:

Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
Experience with bank reconciliations and general ledger management
Ability to prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close activities
Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP
Strong understanding of financial principles and attention to detail
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively with external stakeholders and internal teams
