Staff Accountant

• Manage accounts payable processes, including conducting three-way matching and working closely with inventory, purchasing, and warehouse teams
• Assist with banking activities, such as wire transfers and account reconciliations
• Collaborate with warehouse managers to ensure accurate inventory reconciliation
• Facilitate onboarding for new vendors and maintain vendor accounts
• Perform month-end tasks, including journal entries and preparing financial reports
• Support internal audit activities by providing necessary documentation and insights
• Cross-train with team members to gain a comprehensive understanding of various accounting functions
• Utilize general ledger systems effectively to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Address and resolve discrepancies with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
• Contribute to improving workflows and processes while adapting to changes in operations

• Proven experience with journal entries, general ledger management, and accounts payable
• Proficiency in general ledger systems and Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with month-end close procedures and account reconciliation
• Strong understanding of banking activities, including wire transfers and bank reconciliations
• Ability to work collaboratively with inventory, purchasing, and warehouse teams
• Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative to tackle challenges independently
• Flexibility to work with evolving processes and adapt to changes effectively

Experience with QuickBooks and knowledge of cost accounting, distribution, or manufacturing
