Staff Accountant

• Prepare and record journal entries to maintain complete and accurate accounting records
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure financial data integrity
• Process accounts payable transactions, verify supporting documentation, and help maintain timely vendor payments
• Manage billing activities, including the preparation of invoices and follow-up on outstanding balances
• Support accounting for commercial real estate operations, including review and maintenance of rent roll information
• Assist with month-end close tasks by compiling schedules, analyzing account activity, and documenting variances
• Partner with internal stakeholders to gather financial information and respond to routine accounting inquiries

• At least 1 year of accounting experience in a staff accountant or similar role
• Working knowledge of journal entries, general ledger accounting, accounts payable, and billing processes
• Familiarity with commercial real estate accounting concepts, including rent roll reporting, is preferred
• Ability to organize multiple priorities while meeting deadlines with a high level of accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel for reconciliation and reporting tasks

Familiarity with commercial real estate accounting concepts, including rent roll reporting
