Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Miami, Florida. This role involves managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate accounting records, and supporting the full accounting cycle. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, adaptable, and committed to maintaining precise financial processes.

Job Responsibility:

Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions efficiently
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records
Maintain the general ledger and ensure all entries are properly recorded
Prepare and post journal entries for various accounting transactions
Assist in month-end close procedures to ensure timely financial reporting
Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP for financial tasks
Support the full cycle accounting process, including documentation and compliance
Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting workflows

Requirements:

Previous experience or knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Familiarity with bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
Proficiency in preparing and posting journal entries
Understanding of month-end close procedures and financial reporting
Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new financial processes
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
