In this role, you will play an essential part in supporting the accounting department by managing financial processes and maintaining accurate records. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to the success of the organization.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and maintain financial records, including journal entries, general ledgers, and reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure accurate reporting
Review and process invoices, expense reports, and accounts payable/receivable transactions
Support payroll processing and assist with related administrative tasks
Draft basic financial statements under the guidance of senior team members
Provide documentation and assistance during audits to ensure compliance
Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement improvements in accounting processes
Perform additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed to support the team
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or near completion of degree
At least one year of experience in accounting or a related role
Strong proficiency in journal entries, general ledger management, and bank reconciliations
Familiarity with accounts payable processes and balance sheet account management
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and basic accounting software
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges while taking direction from senior staff
