Job Description:

Temporary contractual opportunity for a Staff Accountant in a Real Estate company with normal working hours Monday through Friday, roughly 8a - 5p

Job Responsibility:

Handle bank reconciliations with accuracy
Manage and track restricted cash to ensure compliance and proper reporting
Process transactions in Yardi accounting system
Generate financial reporting

Requirements:

YARDI software experience
1-3 years (or more) of corporate accounting experience
Experience in property management or real estate
Commercial real estate accounting experience
Corporate-level financial operations experience
Proficiency in Yardi accounting system including processing transactions and reporting
Bank reconciliations with accuracy preferably within Yardi
Manage and track restricted cash to ensure compliance and proper reporting

Nice to have:

Intercompany Accountant transactions
Prepaid expenses and accruals and their impact on financial statements
