Staff Accountant

• Prepare and review corporate tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Manage sales tax filings and resolve related discrepancies promptly
• Record and maintain journal entries for various financial transactions
• Oversee the general ledger to ensure proper reconciliation and reporting
• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics CRM to streamline accounting processes and maintain financial records
• Collaborate with internal teams to analyze financial data and prepare reports
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws
• Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and support
• Monitor financial activities to identify and address irregularities
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures

• Proven experience in corporate tax preparation and filing
• Strong knowledge of sales tax regulations and reporting processes
• Proficiency in managing journal entries and general ledger accounts
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar financial software
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret and report financial data accurately
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
• Knowledge of non-profit accounting practices is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
