Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant with NetSuite Experience to join our accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting operations to ensure the accuracy of financial records and compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate has solid accounting knowledge, proficiency with NetSuite ERP, and a problem-solving mindset.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial transactions, including entries in NetSuite
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures, including account reconciliations and financial reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain proper system integrations between NetSuite and other business systems
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
  • Perform variance analysis on general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards
  • Support the audit process by providing requested documentation and schedules
  • Assist with implementing process improvements and best practices to enhance accounting workflow and efficiency
  • Maintain compliance with tax filings, regulations, and internal controls

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2+ years of accounting experience in a corporate setting or relevant industry
  • NetSuite ERP system experience is required
  • familiarity with reporting tools within NetSuite is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and general ledger functions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas)
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
