Robert Half is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant for a contract opportunity with one of our valued clients. In this role, you will contribute to essential financial operations and help drive process improvements within a collaborative finance team.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures
Support the preparation of financial statements and reports
Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance
Collaborate with internal teams to optimize accounting processes
Maintain documentation and uphold internal control standards
Requirements:
Prior experience in accounting, with a focus on general ledger, reconciliations, or financial reporting
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to accuracy, integrity, and process improvement
