Staff Accountant

• Accurately record and post journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring timely updates
• Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions
• Prepare and analyze financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities by verifying financial data and ensuring proper documentation
• Assist with audits and tax filings by preparing schedules and providing necessary documentation
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting policies and standards
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial statements and accounts
• Maintain organized documentation to support internal and external audits
• Recommend and implement improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar role
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with tax processes, including corporate tax returns and sales tax

Experience with NetSuite is preferred
