Staff Accountant

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly, quarterly and annual accounts
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
• Provide assistance and training to accounting staff
• Make certain all financial reporting deadlines are met
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
• Assist in financial audits and coordination of the audit process

• Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
• 5+ years' experience in accounting
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• SAP and ADP experience preferred
• Experience with computerized general ledger systems
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and resolve issues
• Self-starter and independent
• Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
