We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Warrendale, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will oversee full-cycle accounting processes, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements. You will collaborate with various business partners to support budgeting, forecasting, and operational assessments, while also contributing to the safeguarding of company assets.
Job Responsibility:
Perform full-cycle accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and managing foreign currency translations
Serve as a key business partner to program leads by providing financial analysis for budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision-making
Handle complex accounting projects such as product profitability analysis, investment accounting, and tax filings
Prepare and deliver financial presentations and analyses for executive teams, finance committees, and board meetings
Provide support during external audits by preparing necessary documentation and reconciling discrepancies
Monitor and analyze financial transactions to ensure compliance and safeguard company assets
Utilize advanced tools such as NetSuite and PowerBI to streamline accounting processes and generate actionable insights
Independently audit and resolve issues related to asset and liability accounts on a monthly basis
Assist in consolidating financial data from multiple entities for accurate reporting
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field
2 to 4 years of experience in accounting or financial operations
Proficiency in generally accepted accounting principles and ability to work under tight deadlines
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with PowerBI and NetSuite
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff across all levels
Ability to independently manage complex tasks and projects
Experience with corporate tax returns, journal entries, and general ledger operations
Previous experience in public accounting or similar environments
