Job Description

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day‑to‑day accounting operations, month-end close, and general ledger maintenance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys contributing to a collaborative finance team.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts (bank, credit card, AP/AR, accruals)
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Support audits and provide requested documentation
  • Assist with process improvements and ad hoc reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2–4 years of accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • Proficiency with Excel and at least one accounting system (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
