We're seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team. This position has a preference for Atlanta based candidates but can be fully remote for the right individual.

Job Responsibility:

Support the month-end close process for main operating entities, including preparation of monthly journal entries, reviewing work of all expenses, and account reconciliations
Handles monthly variance and spend analysis reporting for subschedules
Work cross-functionally to lead and support process improvement initiatives as we scale
Oversite of corporate credit card and expense reimbursement program
Oversite of corporate travel and expense policies and procedures and training initiatives for new employees
Review proper GL coding of invoices and expenses, 2-way documentation, and approvals through automated platforms and tools.
Assist with year-end activities for both audit and tax
Support with ACH, check, and manual payment runs with the Controller/CFO
Manages daily cash and credit card reconciliations
Manage leased inventory with IT dept to GAAP standards
Enhance the documentation of key internal controls, processes, and procedures
Maintain daily cash reports and resolving issues related to the banking portal (lockbox errors, check voided in the past, uncleared checks, etc.), and other related duties

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree is required
2+ years of relevant experience in accounting or accounts payable required
Advanced excel skills
Experience with accounting close and preparation of financial statements.
Strong knowledge of GAAP preferred.
Experience with NetSuite preferred.
Experience working in a high growth technology or SaaS company preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to multitask to meet deadlines
