Staff Accountant

• Perform daily cash reconciliations for multiple bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Monitor financial transactions and investigate discrepancies to maintain proper records
• Handle transactional accounting tasks such as journal entries and general ledger updates
• Process accounts receivable and manage daily cash receipts efficiently
• Conduct routine bank reconciliations and support monthly reconciliation processes
• Collaborate on special accounting projects as needed to improve workflow and accuracy
• Analyze cash transitions to determine what can and cannot be reconciled
• Manage a high volume of financial items, typically ranging from 15-20 daily transactions
• Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, if applicable, to streamline processes
• Maintain organized financial records and assist with audits when required

• Proven experience in transactional accounting, including journal entries and general ledger work
• Strong skills in cash reconciliations and bank reconciliation processes
• Familiarity with accounts receivable and daily cash receipt handling
• Competence in using accounting software
• experience with NetSuite is preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a structured environment
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Capable of managing a consistent workload of static daily tasks alongside project-based work
• Flexibility to work on-site or remotely, provided proper equipment is available
