Staff Accountant

• Handle comprehensive bookkeeping tasks for multiple business clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Prepare monthly financial statements, including variance analysis and detailed commentary
• Develop and maintain advanced spreadsheets to track sales, margins, and other financial metrics
• Facilitate regular client meetings, acting as a trusted advisor and providing clear financial insights
• Integrate and optimize accounting software and automation tools to streamline workflows and maintain a paperless environment
• Assist with system setups, troubleshooting, and cleanup projects for client accounts
• Conduct year-end reconciliations, manage proper account classifications, and oversee W-2 and 1099 filings
• Communicate effectively with clients to resolve issues and provide straightforward explanations of financial concepts
• Ensure all financial data is accurate, compliant, and presented in a clear, jargon-free manner

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Strong ability to adapt to diverse accounting workflows and explain processes clearly
• High level of comfort with technology and cloud-based software platforms
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and precision
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client accounts while meeting deadlines
• Commitment to accuracy, accountability, and respectful conduct in all interactions
