Job Description:

Seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. This role offers a strong mix of transactional accounting and analytical responsibilities, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a stable and collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close, including account reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed
  • Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Support budget tracking and financial reporting
  • Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
  • Assist with audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries
  • Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2–5+ years of general accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
  • Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in a structured or multi-fund environment
  • Familiarity with ERP or financial management systems
