Staff Accountant

• Prepare and review journal entries to maintain accuracy in financial records
• Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure proper tracking of assets and liabilities
• Perform bank reconciliations to validate cash balances and identify discrepancies
• Assist in preparing corporate tax returns and handling sales tax reporting
• Manage and update the general ledger to reflect accurate financial transactions
• Utilize Workday Financial Management software to streamline accounting processes and reporting
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards
• Provide support during audits by compiling necessary documentation and reports
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights
• Maintain organized records for all accounting activities and transactions

• A minimum of three years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Proficiency in preparing journal entries and conducting account reconciliations
• Strong knowledge of corporate tax and sales tax processes
• Experience in managing general ledger activities
• Familiarity with Workday Financial Management software is highly preferred
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
