Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will hold an active CPA license (or be in the process of obtaining one) and have current or prior experience working for a CPA firm. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of accounting and tax engagements while building long-term professional expertise.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP
Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules
Handle tax preparation for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
Assist with audits, reviews, and compilations as needed
Support senior accounting staff with month-end and year-end closing processes
Maintain knowledge of current tax laws and accounting standards

Requirements:

CPA license (or actively pursuing CPA designation)
Previous or current experience in a CPA firm environment (required)
5+ years of professional experience in accounting
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Experience with tools used for tax prep and workflow management such as: Lacerte
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
