Job Description

We are seeking a Contract Staff Accountant to provide leave of absence coverage and support key accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong general ledger experience, account reconciliation skills, and exposure to both AP and AR functions.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed
  • Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
  • Analyze account activity and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
  • Assist with audit support and special projects

Requirements

  • Prior staff accounting experience required
  • Strong general ledger and reconciliation experience required
  • Experience supporting AP and AR functions required
  • Proficient in Excel and accounting software
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
