Staff Accountant

• Record and maintain accurate journal entries to ensure financial data integrity
• Oversee month-end closing processes, ensuring timely and precise reporting
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to support organizational decision-making
• Reconcile accounts and perform general ledger coding to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for financial data management and reporting
• Assist with payroll processing and related accounting functions
• Ensure compliance with grant funding requirements and maintain accurate grant accounting records
• Support accounting tasks related to non-profit operations

• Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience with a focus on attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with non-profit accounting and/or grant accounting is highly desirable
• Solid understanding of reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and general ledger management
• Proven reliability and commitment to maintaining high standards of trustworthiness
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills
