Staff Accountant

• Manage fixed asset accounting, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of assets
• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain an up-to-date general ledger
• Handle corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Oversee sales tax reporting and filing processes
• Collaborate with the finance team to support day-to-day accounting operations
• Utilize Oracle systems to streamline accounting tasks and maintain financial records
• Conduct detailed reviews of financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues
• Assist with tax-related documentation and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Provide support for month-end and year-end close processes

• Proven experience in fixed asset accounting within a corporate environment
• Strong understanding of corporate tax and sales tax regulations
• Ability to prepare and analyze journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
• Demonstrated expertise in managing corporate tax returns
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Prior experience in manufacturing or a similar industry is preferred
