Job Description:

We are looking to add a Staff Accountant to the Honolulu Team of Full-Time Engagement Professionals. In this role, you will contribute to critical accounting projects and initiatives, leveraging your expertise to optimize processes and enhance operational efficiency. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on organizational workflows while collaborating with a dynamic team.

Job Responsibility:

Assist in transitioning purchasing processes from third-party modules to the primary organizational platform for improved integration and functionality
Redesign and streamline General Ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and efficiency in crop accounting
Participate in testing newly implemented automated systems to validate performance and reliability
Develop detailed training materials and provide guidance to staff on new processes and technologies
Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions
Provide expertise in Oracle NetSuite to enhance accounting operations and reporting
Support accounts payable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing
Analyze financial data and prepare journal entries to maintain accurate records
Contribute to workflow optimization efforts to streamline accounting activities

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role
Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite and familiarity with its functionalities
Strong knowledge of General Ledger processes and journal entries
Experience in accounts payable management and process improvement
Ability to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency
Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical staff
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while meeting deadlines
