We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Orange, California. In this role, you will handle critical accounting functions such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and maintain accurate journal entries to ensure the integrity of financial records
  • Reconcile balance sheets and other accounts monthly to confirm the accuracy and completeness of financial data
  • Generate detailed financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes to meet reporting deadlines
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
  • Participate in budgeting processes by compiling and analyzing financial data
  • Conduct financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
  • Monitor organizational expenses and recommend cost-saving strategies
  • Collaborate with teams to complete special accounting projects as assigned
  • Stay updated on accounting principles and regulations to ensure compliance in all financial practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related roles
  • Proficiency in preparing journal entries, general ledger management, and corporate tax returns
  • Strong knowledge of corporate and sales tax compliance
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative team-oriented mindset
