Staff Accountant

• Assist with month-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the integrity of financial data
• Manage general ledger accounts to ensure proper classification and reconciliation
• Perform account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Oversee depreciation schedules and allocations to ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Provide support for non-profit accounting requirements, ensuring adherence to regulations
• Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making

• Proven experience in posting journal entries and managing general ledger accounts
• Familiarity with month-end close procedures and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and problem-solving skills
• Experience in non-profit accounting practices is preferred
• Proficiency in managing depreciation and allocation processes
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
