Job Description:

This role involves managing essential accounting tasks such as journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, and cash deposit oversight. The ideal candidate will thrive in a quiet and focused environment, contributing to the financial operations of a seasonal business.

Job Responsibility:

Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes efficiently
Oversee and reconcile cash deposits with bank records
Prepare and record standard journal entries accurately
Utilize Jonas Club Software for accounting tasks and reporting
Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are properly documented
Assist with corporate tax preparation and sales tax filings
Collaborate with the team to ensure financial data aligns with organizational goals
Provide support during seasonal ramp-up periods and contribute to operational readiness

Requirements:

Proven experience in corporate tax and sales tax preparation
Proficiency in creating and managing journal entries
Strong understanding of general ledger processes
Familiarity with Jonas Club Software or similar accounting systems
Ability to work independently in a quiet and focused environment
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
Availability to commit to a contract position with consistent hours
