Our company is looking for a Home-Owner Association Staff Accountant to oversee association financials. The Home Owner Staff Accountant will be responsible for monitoring general accounting practices and maintaining internal accounting controls.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the association accounting
Oversee accounting procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and FDIC limits
Meet financial accounting objectives
Review and oversee external and internal audits
General Ledger analysis
Conduct month-end and year-end close reconciliations and processes
Prepare financials for Association Board of Directors
Interact with Association Managers
Review Association budgets
Requirements:
Proven working experience with financials
Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
An analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
At least five(5) years of experience in accounting
