Job Description:

Current opening in Staff Accountant for a specialized company in need of a reliable and innovative Staff Accountant to join their team. Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.

Job Responsibility:

Assist with the period-end close process by reviewing and completing assigned period-end functions while also performing reconciliations and maintaining documentation related to balance sheet accounts
Perform period over period and year over year variance analysis for expense accounts
Reconcile various balance sheet accounts on a periodic/quarterly basis
Prepare period end journal entries
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
Prepare reports for external departments

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
CPA helpful but not required
2 years accounting experience preferred but not required
