Staff Accountant

• Perform month-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliation of accounts
• Oversee fund administration, including processing payments and managing invoice correspondence
• Maintain sales and use tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filings
• Utilize QuickBooks Online and other financial systems to manage general ledger activities
• Collaborate with developers to automate funding processes and ensure systems meet accounting requirements
• Communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and streamline operations
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
• Prepare corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Assist in tracking and managing commissions for sales representatives
• Contribute to financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel is essential
• Strong understanding of general ledger, journal entries, and corporate tax processes
• Experience in fund administration and invoice management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively
• Familiarity with sales and use tax compliance

Previous experience in corporate tax return preparation is a plus
