Job Description:

Robert Half is partnering with one of its long-standing partners for a staff accountant to join their team. The role will focus on a few different areas, including GL accounting, AP assistance, and yearly audit initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain and update the general ledger to ensure accurate financial records
  • Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation for all transactions
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and address any discrepancies
  • Assist with month-end closing processes, ensuring timely completion
  • Support audit preparation by organizing financial data and providing necessary documentation
  • Assist with accounts payable operations and ensure compliance with established procedures
  • Collaborate with the controller to implement and refine accounting practices

Requirements:

  • Previous GL Accounting experience
  • Accounts Payable experience and understanding
  • Advanced Excel - Pivot Tables and VLookups
  • Familiarity with month-end closing processes and audit preparation
