Job Responsibility:

  • Perform detailed oversight and review of general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and making necessary adjustments
  • Conduct thorough bank and account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity
  • Generate and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy for month-end close processes and audit readiness
  • Evaluate budget versus actual expenditures, performing variance analysis for allocated funds
  • Utilize Sage 300 and Excel to manage financial data effectively and efficiently
  • Prepare corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
  • Handle sales tax calculations and reporting, maintaining compliance across jurisdictions
  • Create and maintain accurate journal entries to support financial reporting
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure financial processes align with organizational goals

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with corporate tax preparation and reporting
  • Expertise in sales tax calculations and compliance
  • Proficiency in preparing corporate tax returns with attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of journal entries and general ledger management
  • Hands-on experience with Sage Pro accounting software
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the use of formulas and data analysis
  • Ability to perform variance analysis and evaluate budget vs actual performance
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills to support accurate financial reporting
