Job Responsibility:
Prepare and process account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards
Utilize QuickBooks for daily accounting tasks, including tracking expenses and managing accounts
Handle journal entries and maintain detailed records to support accurate financial reporting
Assist in preparing and filing sales tax and corporate tax returns in a timely manner
Manage and update the general ledger to reflect accurate financial data
Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records
Conduct regular reviews of financial documentation to ensure compliance with company policies
Provide support during audits by organizing and presenting relevant financial information
Monitor and analyze financial transactions to identify trends and areas for improvement
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on reconciliations
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
Strong knowledge of sales tax and corporate tax return processes
Experience with journal entries and general ledger maintenance
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
