Staff Accountant

• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to verify completeness and accuracy
• Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice review and timely payments
• Oversee accounts receivable activities, such as processing payments and resolving discrepancies
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure alignment between financial statements and records
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and prepare reports
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes to ensure deadlines are met
• Collaborate with other departments to address accounting-related inquiries and issues
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within accounting operations

• 2-3+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant or in similar roles
• Proven experience in journal entries and general ledger management
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Expertise in account reconciliation and financial statement accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis
• Familiarity with accounting principles and practices
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders
• Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred but not required
