Staff Accountant

• Process and code vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals
• Enter daily revenue data and prepare supporting documentation for financial reports
• Perform reconciliations for bank, credit card, and cash accounts to maintain accuracy
• Draft journal entries for review and assist with intercompany cost tracking
• Ensure timely and organized accounts payable processing, including vendor communication and payment tracking
• Support accounts receivable processes for group bookings, events, and parties
• Assist in maintaining compliance with sales tax filings and invoice submission protocols
• Manage multi-entity accounting tasks, including expense coding and transaction corrections
• Upload financial documents to shared drives and maintain audit-ready records
• Collaborate with Operations and Construction divisions to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, entertainment, or retail sectors
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
• Familiarity with accounts payable and receivable processes
• Experience with invoice processing and data entry
• Knowledge of Excel formulas and advanced spreadsheet management
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
