Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment. Job Responsibility:

Prepare and review corporate tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts to maintain accurate financial records
Record and analyze journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Handle sales tax reporting and filings, ensuring compliance with local and state regulations
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes to meet reporting deadlines
Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and resolve discrepancies
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and accounting principles to ensure compliance
Provide support for financial planning and analysis activities as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience in corporate tax preparation and sales tax reporting
Proficiency in managing general ledger accounts and journal entries
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
