Staff Accountant

• Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
• Assist with generating timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Review and process invoices, expense reports, and payment transactions
• Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed
• Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or trends
• Maintain and update accounting records, reports, and files, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and controls

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience preferred
• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles (GAAP)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas, data analysis)
• High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn

Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) is a plus
