Staff Accountant

• Perform comprehensive bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Prepare and post journal entries with precision and attention to detail
• Support month-end close processes by gathering financial data and preparing reports
• Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve discrepancies in the general ledger
• Utilize Workday Financial Management systems to streamline accounting tasks and processes
• Apply advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze financial data and create detailed reports
• Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as assigned by management
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and practices within a non-profit organization setting
• Maintain organized financial records for audits and internal reviews

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role
• Proficiency in performing journal entries and managing general ledger activities
• Hands-on experience with Workday Financial Management systems is highly preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis tools
• Strong skills in account and bank reconciliations
• Familiarity with non-profit accounting practices is an advantage
• Ability to work effectively under deadlines and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
