We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our manufacturing team in Ladson, South Carolina. Job Responsibility:
Verify purchase orders and customer documentation to ensure all requirements are met before processing new orders
Maintain and update sales, planning, and finance tracking tools, such as quote logs, order tracking systems, and job sheets
Coordinate shipping activities by preparing shipping instructions, documentation, and notifying customers about order shipments
Manage the database by entering and maintaining accurate customer and vendor information, both in digital and physical formats
Oversee business insurance plans, ensuring compliance with liability, property casualty, worker’s compensation, vehicle, and fiduciary coverage
Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, insurance agents, and landlords
Arrange accommodations, transportation, and entertainment for visitors as required
Provide bookkeeping and financial reporting support, including data entry and administrative assistance
Requirements:
Associate degree or higher in accounting or a related field
2–4 years of experience in a medium-sized manufacturing business environment, focusing on data entry, bookkeeping, and filing
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent customer service abilities, with effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel
Familiarity with US GAAP and standard cost accounting practices
Experience with manufacturing industry processes and operations
