Staff Accountant

• Manage high-volume accounts payable processes, including the handling of approximately 200 invoices weekly
• Perform reconciliations for accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records
• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 to maintain and update financial data
• Assist in monthly closing activities, ensuring timely completion of reports
• Process and verify 3-way match transactions and purchase orders
• Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
• Support tax-related activities, including corporate and sales tax filings
• Provide assistance in general ledger management and journal entries
• Contribute to the implementation of new systems and processes as needed
• Report to the Accounting Supervisor and Senior Accounting Manager, ensuring alignment with organizational goals

• Proven experience in accounts payable, with the ability to handle high invoice volumes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Business Central
• Strong understanding of 3-way match processes and purchase order verification
• Solid knowledge of general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Familiarity with corporate and sales tax processes
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Background in manufacturing accounting is preferred but not mandatory
