Job Responsibility:
Prepare and file corporate tax returns while adhering to relevant regulations and deadlines
Manage sales tax reporting and compliance processes
Record and reconcile journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting
Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect all financial transactions
Utilize Viewpoint Spectrum software to streamline accounting operations
Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments
Collaborate with internal teams to support financial audits and reviews
Identify and implement improvements in accounting procedures to enhance efficiency
Analyze financial data to provide insights and support decision-making
Requirements:
Proven experience in corporate tax preparation and compliance
Strong knowledge of sales tax regulations and procedures
Proficiency in managing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts
Familiarity with Viewpoint Spectrum or similar accounting software
Experience handling accounts payable processes
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a contract role
