Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and file corporate tax returns while adhering to relevant regulations and deadlines
  • Manage sales tax reporting and compliance processes
  • Record and reconcile journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect all financial transactions
  • Utilize Viewpoint Spectrum software to streamline accounting operations
  • Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support financial audits and reviews
  • Identify and implement improvements in accounting procedures to enhance efficiency
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights and support decision-making

Requirements

  • Proven experience in corporate tax preparation and compliance
  • Strong knowledge of sales tax regulations and procedures
  • Proficiency in managing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts
  • Familiarity with Viewpoint Spectrum or similar accounting software
  • Experience handling accounts payable processes
