Staff Accountant

• Perform daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processing, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Lead or support month-end and year-end close activities and assist with financial statement preparation
• Accurately record, categorize, and report financial transactions utilizing Sage Intacct software
• Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring completeness and accuracy at all times
• Prepare financial reports, supporting schedules, and variance analyses as required
• Communicate directly with vendors and customers to resolve invoicing, payments, and account inquiries
• Assist in the development and maintenance of budgets, forecasts, and expense tracking reports
• Maintain well-organized, up-to-date financial files and documentation in compliance with internal controls and company policies
• Provide support during annual audits and participate in special finance projects as needed

• 2+ years of practical accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally in a dynamic or growth-focused organization
• Proficiency with Sage Intacct required
• Strong understanding of GAAP, accounting principles, and best practices
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize responsibilities
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or other spreadsheet tools preferred
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred (or equivalent relevant experience)
