Job Description

You'll gain exposure to: Construction and development accounting; Project job costing and budgeting; Corporate general ledger accounting; Real estate development finance; Lender draw packages and funding processes; Process improvement and systems optimization; Cross-functional collaboration with development, construction, and operations teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules
  • Maintain accurate general ledger records in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Support construction accounting activities, including job costing, budget tracking, contract management, change orders, and funding sources
  • Prepare and maintain detailed construction cost reports
  • Process construction-related billings and vendor invoices
  • Partner with project managers and construction teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting
  • Assist with preparing monthly lender draw packages and supporting documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • Experience with accounts payable and general accounting functions
  • Construction accounting or job-cost accounting experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with Yardi (Voyager, Construction, Procure-to-Pay, or related modules preferred)
  • A proactive, growth-oriented mindset and desire to take on increasing responsibility.
