The Staff Accountant is instrumental in providing a variety of critical accounting and financial reporting functions including all month end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, audit processes while ensuring efficient and timely operations. Responsible for maintaining financial controls and confirming financial compliance through analysis and preparation of company’s reports and statements.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare month end close journal entries in accordance with US GAAP
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Work with operations team to monitor and analyze inventory and prepare monthly journal entries
Maintain prepaid and accrued expense schedules, appropriately amortizing and accruing expenses to the P&L
Prepare appropriate audit support for transactions
Assist with external audit and tax schedule preparation
Support corporate Accounting and Finance team with ad-hoc analysis or projects
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers in person, on the phone, or when answering or referring any inquires
Participates in staff meetings and workgroups by providing constructive input for process improvements and solutions
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
At least two (2) years of experience in accounting preferred
Sage Intacct experience preferred
Experience with fast-growing multi-site organization
US GAAP experience, preferred
Financial reporting experience preferred
CPA eligible highly preferred
Must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Advanced Excel skills, such as pivots, lookups, and formula driven spreadsheets
Strong interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communication skills to enhance team collaboration
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Detail-oriented and proven ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, following through to completion
