Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial records, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting the overall accounting function. This position offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and develop expertise in various accounting processes.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain and update the general ledger to ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner
perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts
ensure compliance with accounting standards by applying proper cut-off procedures and accurate classifications
prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports on a regular basis
reconcile balance sheet accounts, promptly identifying and resolving any discrepancies
collaborate with teams such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury to streamline and enhance accounting processes
provide responses and support to management and other departments regarding financial inquiries and reports

Requirements:

Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
strong experience with bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
skilled in preparing journal entries and managing month-end close processes
familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP
solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and meet deadlines
must be legally authorized to work in the United States
